Change Of Leadership Style At The Start Of The Class

Change of Leadership Style At the start of the class, I have already developed dominance leadership style that focused on accomplishing results, the bottom line and confidence. During my undergraduate study, I am always the team leader and insist achieving the team’s goals together. I am the kind of leader who always make sure to let team members offer their thoughts and ideas all the time. I am quite emphasis on corporation because I believe noncooperation can lead to an overall failure to achieve the teams’ goal. To make sure that everyone can contribute to the team, I keep giving everyone a chance to participate and come up with their ideas at any time. Besides, it is necessary for me to set up a clear process for team members to share ideas. I always believe that the most effective leadership style is the leadership style that consists of the leader sharing the decision- making abilities with group members by promoting the interests of the group members and by practicing equality. When I am the team leader, I mainly focus on six traits: Honest, competent, forward- looking, intelligent, straightforward and broad- minded. All team member should be honest with each other. If anyone couldn’t come to the group meeting, you can tell us the reason of absence. But we won’t accept the lie.
